Hey guys!

I worked on Thomson destiny and spirit for a few years and hated it!! I moved from working on the Ventura and the level of service was no where near what it was with P&O.

Although i enjoyed it i hated working for a travel agent and tour operator it just doesn’t work when it comes to service.

There was one time we where leaving port and the weather wasn’t great but the ship took a beating and rooms where flooded. Thomson’s continued the cruise despite rubbish weather and guests where not happy. Thomson should have really cancelled the cruise or revised their itinerary so customers could enjoyed their time aboard. If that had happened on a p&o cruise then they would have changed it! what are your guys thoughts??

I have recently left working with the cruise lines to start my own travel agent focused on value for money, great service and getting to know my customers.

What are your guys thoughts on bad weather? should the cruise line cancel or should they go ahead?

Hey guys,

I just want to offer up some advice if anyone is needing any with organising a wedding cruise or honeymoon cruise! There is a lot on offer and its worth looking into and planning correctly.

If you have any questions or you just want some info then private me or just post back to this thread. I will be happy to answer any questions as i have had around 5 1/2 years experience planning wedding, honeymoon and group event cruises.

Royal Caribbean to bank heavily on Europe

Interesting article in the USA Today Cruise Log: Cruise giant Royal Caribbean plans big expansion in Europe - Cruise Log - USATODAY.com Looks like Royal Caribbean will be moving nearly half it’s fleet (10 of 22) to Europe for the 2011 season. They will be sending the 2007 Liberty of the Seas to Barcelona to go head to head with NCL’s 2010 Norwegian Epic.

RCL cites increased demand for the move. My question to the form is, do you think there will be an increase in Americans returning to the European market? Will the reduced value of the dollar, increased security at the airports, ever increasing airfares and luggage charges have much, if any impact? Or maybe the cruise lines are banking on the increasing demand from the Europeans alone.

Then again, could it be they are thinking it will push more demand to the Oasis and Allure?
